MAFEKING STILL SAFE.
PUEE WATER SCARCE AND FEVER PREVALENT. (Reoeived November 24, 9.26 a.m.) CAPETOWN, 23rd November. A report received from Mafelung, dated the 20th instant, states that the town is still safe. The garrison, however, lack pure water, and. fever is prevalent.
