♦ [BY TELBGBArn— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] j AUCKLAND, Bth November. John Perry, dog registrar and gun license ranger for the Hobson County Council, was found dead in bed at Te Kopuru. The evidence showed that he had been drinking heavily lately. He used to drink methylated spirits of wine. Twenty empty boitles were found in a shed near his home. The jury returned a verdict of Death from Serous Apoplexy, brought on by chronic alcoholism.

Through a bottle breaking off at the neck while he was pressing a cork into it, Charles Dorizack, an assistant to Mr. D. T. Orr, chemist, had one of his wrists badly lacerated yesterday. The wound required six stitches to close it.
