ENGLAND AGAIN DEFEATS NEW SOUTH WALES. [riIKSS ASSOCIATION.] Sydnky, 20th July. The Englifeh Rugby footballers met New South Wales again to-day. The weather was beautiful, and thero was a good attendance. Iho teams wore — England — Thomson, Gtay, Timms, Nicholls, Bucher, Aduinsou, C(ok on, Stout, M'Gouan, Jfrmun, Smith, Gibson, Evers, Judkins, and Swannell. New South Wales— Woodhill, Suragg, Rowo, White, Ward, O'Donnell, Galloway, Carson, Bouffier, Ellis, Marks, Davis, Chai'.linor, Barton and Kelly. For tho greater part of tho first spell tho game was very oven, but just before half-time was culled Barton got a- lucky try, tho English back slipping when about to tako the ball. A local forward fell ovor him and secured the bull. Spragg converted. At half-time tho score stood — New South Wales, 5 points ; England, nil. In tho second spell the Englishmen made tho game lively. From a mark Adamson made a magnificent kick from nearly halfdistanco and obtained a goal. Somo brilliant passing ensued on the part of Adamson, Cookson, nnd Timms. The latter crossed tho line, but lost the ball immediately afterwards. A free kick awarded tho Englishmen resulted in Adamson again putting the ball over. A little later on Timms, Nicholls und Swannell were prominont in a dodgy passing run, which enabled tho latter to cross the line.
