RECEPTION A T GO VERNMENT HOUSE.

The Countess of Ranfurly received several hundred guests at tlho afternoon party given at Government House on Saturday. The reception was held in the largo draw-ing-room, which, as well ns several other rooms, was crowded throughout the afternoon, and ten. was served in the long dining-room.
