The ship Loch Ferons, which was bound from Glasgow to Brisbane, has gone ashore at Killiney Bay, an inlet of the Iriih Sea, a short distance south of Dublin. The crew was saved by means of a lifeboat, but it is probable that the vessel will become a total wreck. [No vessel named the Loch Ferons, or with any similar name, can be found in Lloyd's Register.]
