DRUIDS' GRAND LODGE. [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

Auckland, 6th February. The annual meeting of the District Grand Lodge of Druids commenced this morning. The President, Bro. Purnell, was in the chair. Correspondence in reference to the fund due to the Grand Lodge from the Grand Lodge of Victoria was read, also opinions from solicitors. It was stated that a compromise had been effected, and that £119 was still due. The action of the Executive in the matter was confirmed. A letter from the Registrar of Friendly Societies re the forming of women's lodges was considered, aud evoked a long disoussien. A sum of £2 2s was voted to the Grey Memor al Committee.
