CRICKET. NEW SOUTH WALES V. VICTORIA.
[PBBSS ASSOCIATION.] Sf dnby, 30th January. The intercolonial cricket match was continued to-day. New South Wales had made 422 in the first innings and the Victorians 215. The visitors followed on, and their second inninga closed for 396. The following are principal individual scores : — Gillex 55, M'Leod 1, Trurable 19, Bruce 7, Warne (not out) 28, Johns 12, extras 11. M'Kibbin took two wickets for 91 runs, Noble five for 128, Howell two for 73, aad Pye one for 70. New South Wales, requiring 170 runs to win, made them with the loss of two wickets. Gregory made 26 runs,Newall 26, M'Kenzie (not out) 6.2, and Iredale (not out) 49 •> extras, 7.
