[by telegraph — press association.] Christchurch, This Day. The final heat of the singles at the bowling tournament was played this morning, wlien Keast beat Turnbull by 18 to 14 for the third prize. There was a splendid game between Manning (Christchurch) and Carswell (Taieri) for first place. At the 14 th head Manning Avas 14; Carswell, 9. At the 20 th head the game was 16 all. In the last head Carswell scored one, and Avon by 17 to 16.
