THE GARDENER- AND THE REPORTER.

Gardeners have troubles as well as those in lesser and higher spheres. Bearing this in mind, a reporter from the Otaki Mail, at the bidding of his editor, had a chat with Mr. Evan Evans, who is engaged by Percy Bates, Esq., of Te Horo, as gardener and milker. The following conversation ensued:—- " I am 55," said Mr. Evans, " and for 30 years I have had rheumatism. Now, however, Dr. Williams' Pink Pills have completely cured me. In July last I was taken ill with rheumatic sciatica. The pains commenced in the left hip joint, and spread right down the leg to the foot. When I had finished the fourth box I noticed a marked improvement and after taking the lot I got another six boxes. Indeed, my case has been a most complicated one, but thanks to this wonderful remedy, I am once more able to enjoy life. My health is better altogether, and my appetite is much improved.
