Neav Plymouth, This Day. Owing to very wet weather the races have been postponed. • Dunedin, This Day. At the Palrnerston races, Miss O'Kane won the Cup paying £5 14s; P.P.C. won the Novel Race, dividend £12 j Silverstream carried off the Flying Stakes, dividend £3 Bs. Under instructions from the Wellington Trotting Club Messrs. F. Sidey & Co. sold by auction on Saturday afternoon the privilej^s for the races to be held on the new track at ihe Recreation Ground, Petone, on the 7th and 11th January. The results were as follows :— Luncheon booth, Mr. Johnston, for £7 ss ; cards of the races, Messrs. Donovan and Armifc, £15 ; outside refreshment booth, Messrs. Mattrass, £8. The publicans' booths were pawed in.
