[by telegraph — press association.] Auckland, This Day. The total output of gold from the goldfields, for September is valued at £44,737. This is not equal to that of lasb month, which was a record one, but £7000 is ahead of July. The Tararu Creek Company's first return from the new battery is gold to the value of £508 from 630 tons. Home and Johnston, tributers in the old workings of the Kapara mine, secured 19-llb of specimens on Thursday, making fully £1000 worth of gold for the fortnight.
