NEW TROUBLE ON THE AFGHAN FRONTIER.
<► FIGHTING BETWEEN TWO TRIBES. [mess association.] Calcutta, 27th July. Serious tribal fighting is going on among the Bajauris and the followers ofthe Nawab of Dir, two neighbouring tribes in the Chitral district, Afghan frontier. In one fight the Bajauris lost 136, and the Nawab of Dir 81. The Indian Government fears that these disorders will re-open the Chitral question.
