The Exhibition Committee has decided to grant the space required for the Government exhibits free of charge. JDunedin, This Day. The Mount Lyell Mining arid lfcailway Company has declared a dividend of 49, which absorbs £50,000. (OUE OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Masterton Ttfis Day. Robert Harkness was charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day with obtaining charitable aid by fraud, but the case was dismissed, and accused was then charged with drunkenness and sentenced to two months' imprisonment. Messrs. W. H. Beetham and L. J. C. Hooper were the presiding Justices.
