TO-DAY'S PARLIAMENT. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
The Speaker announced the decision of the Court of Appeal, stating that the seat of the Hon. J. G. Ward had not become vacant, and on the motion of the Premier the judgment was entered in the journals of the House. The Wellington Harbour Board Empowering Bill (Mr. J. Hutcheson), the Native Laud Laws Act Amendment Bill (the Premier), and the Contagious Diseases Act Repeal Bill (the Premier) were introduced aud read a first time.
