The former went well, but Clarion was. somewhat sluggish. Gaulus, who was reported to be amiss, was sent a sound gallop over a mile, which occupied lrain 48£ sec, and Fucile registered a mile and a half in 2min 46sec, finishing well. Amberite covered a mile and a quarter in 2min 16£ sec, Coil taking $sec longer. Both look blooming, as does Auraria, who was restricted to moderate exercise. Essex spurted five furlongs in lmin Gsec. Delaware, about whom 4000 to 120 was taken for the Cup last night, moved pleasingly over a mile and a quarter. Wait-a-Bit covered two miles in Bmin oOsec without apparent effort.
