Grove Farm Handicap. — Salvo Shot, 1; Bimelallist, 2; Liberty, 3. Time,| lmin 30 2-ssec. Dividend, £3 2s. The further results of the second day's races are : — / Ashburlon Racing Club Handicap, one mile. — Belligerent, Bst 21b, 1; Telemeter, Bst 6lb, 2; Manawanui, 7st 71b, 3. Won by a length. Time, lmin 43sec. Dividend, £5 Is. Pony Handicap, four furlongs. — Bot Fly, 1 ; Minister, 2 ; Mauiu, 3. A. close race. Time, 51sec. Dividend, £10 ss. Disposal Stakes, six furlongs. — This was a dead heat between Dunlop and Rangefinder, Toxa 3. Iv the run off Dunlop won easily. Time, lmin 17isec. Dividend, £1 18s. 'Winchmore Welter Handicap, seven furlongs. — Padlock, 1 ; Salvo Shot, 2 ; Bimetallist, 3. Time, lmin 31sec. Dividend, £3 16s. Won by ten lengths. Allenton Handicap, six furlongs. — Saladiu, 1 ; Mount Clair, 2 ; Double Event, 3. Time, lmin 18seo. Dividend, £5 3s. Auckland, I4th May. The Auckland Trotting Club will hold a meeting on the Record Reign day. The whole of the proceeds, after paying the stakes and actual expenses, will be devoted to the Hawkes Bay Relief Fund.
