» [PREBS ASSOCIATION.] Vienna, 12th May. The Archduke Ferdinand acts as the Austrian envoy at the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. Auckland, 13th May. The Mayor has received a telegram from the Administrator of the colony. Sir James Prendergast, stating that he is posting to the Mayor a subscription of £25 to the fund being raised here for a public institution in commemoration of the Queen's record reign. He hopes the citizens of Auckland and the people of the district will succeed in carrying out to their fullest desire the memorial in honour of the Record Reign.
