THE EARTH OPENS. GROUND AND ROCKS SINK. Adelaide, This Dat. At Yangoline, near Kingston, several dwellings were demolished. An infant was buried in debris, but was recovered much bruised. Both at Yangoline and Mount Benson openings in the ground of considerable extent ocourred. Near Kingston the ground opened many chains in length, and varying from iin to 6in in width. On the south side of Fellmongery Lake the ground and rocks sank 3ft.
