NARROW ESCAPE OF WAR CORRESPONDENTS.

THE SCENE AFTER THE PANIC. [press association.]. (Received April 29, 10.5 a.m.) Athens. 26th April. When the Turks entered Larissa they secured possession of 20,000 boxes of cartridges left by the Greeks in their flight. Five of the war correspondents, including the special representatives of the Times, Renter's Agency, and the Illustrated London News, were nearly killed by the carriage in which they were driving being overturned. Reuters representative was nearly shot by one of the soldiers. The road for miles was strewn with the dead and dying, and abandoned guns, munitions of war, and furniture. Riderless frautio horses increased the danger. Many of those who were unable to secure horses for the purpose of flight fought with and dislodged those who were mounted.
