« [BT TELEQBAPH— EBESS ASSOCIATION.] Gisbohne. 7th December. A man named James Liddle, butcher on board the steamer Te Anau, fell over the wharf on Saturday morning, and died in the Hospital, the immersion causing pneumonia. Dr. Hooper said tho man's condition indicated intoxication. Dunedin, This Day. "William Hall, miner," has been found dead in his house at Clyde. A child named Francis R. Dawson, aged six years, was drowned at Lawrence yesterdaj% __________^___
