A GRBAT DAY AT HOKITIKA. (Our Own Gorreipondent.) Wkstport, This Dat. The most brilliant Maßonio meeting ever hold on the Coast took plaoe at Hokitik* yesterday. The ceremonies oommenood at 2pm., and inoluded the oonseoration of the new Masonic and the installation of officers of Lodges Westland Kilwinuing, Advance, and Kumara. Bro. the Hon. K. J. Seddon, Promier of the colony, was installed Worshipful Master of Lodge Westland Kil winning, the whole of the ceremonies being oonduoted by Bro. Herbert Williams, P.D.G M., of Wellington, assisted by Bro. H. L. Miohel (Hokitika), T. A. Peterkin (Westport), and H. Wetherilt (Wellington). The ceremonies did not conolude till 9 p m., and after a short adjournment for refreshments the Premier and northern visitors left by special train for Groymouth, and prooooded to Westport. A lodge is to be constituted at Mokihinui this evening, and the Premier will be present.
