ANOTHER RICH KALGOORLIE FIND. [piKBS ASSOCIATION.! (Reoeived September 2, 11 a.m.) Perth, This Dat. A great rush is taking place in the Kalgoorlie district, about 2J- miles south-west of the Great Boulder mine. The formation at the new minea is similar to that at the Boulder. The reef carries good gold right to the surface. The first assay gave 40oz to the ton, another taken right across the formation yielded lOOoz to the ton. The gold is spongy, and totally without metallic lustre. Fire pound shares have jumped to JBlOO, This is the first instance of suoh very rich stone occurring on the aurfaoe in the district. The gold returns for the past week are as follows :— Big Kiver, 1790z amalgam from 90 tons (top plates) ; Progress, 2710z amalgam from 205 tons (top plates) ; Keep-it-Dark, 394iz amalgam from 115 tons (clean np) ; Olobe, 15.50z amalgam from 65 tous (olean Up) ; Buller Dredge, 106oe ljdwts gold for the month. Auckland, This Dat. The share market is brisk to-day. Alburnjas advanced from 6s 6d to 9s 6d, and then cjoolined to 7b 3d, with sellers a* 8s 3d. Other sales were:— May Queen, 11s 8d; Norfolk, 4a 8d; Waihi-Silverton, 565; Waihi South, 2s 9d ; Grace Darling, 3s j Waitekauri No. 4, 2s 9d to 3s ; Kapai-Vermont, 9a 6d ; Try Fluke, 12s 6d ; Welcome Find, 3s 3d ; Bunker's Hill, 6s 6d, Smaller priced stocks show a tendenoy to firmer prices.
