[PRSSS ASSOCIATION. I (Beoeived August 21, 11 a.m.) Brisbane, Tbib Dat. The boot strike has ended. The Union has reoommended the operatives to seek reengagement. It is expeoted that about two-thirds of the men out will obtain employment under the prinoiple of freedom of contract. The members of the men's Exeoutive state 1 that the strikers were staunch, but are convinced ot the hopelessness of the struggle.
