[fBEeS ASSOCIATION, J Stdnkt, 20th August In the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Keid, the Premier, gave notice of the Land and Income Tax Bills for to-morrow. In reference to the exemptions, he said he had not inserted amonnts, as he wished the House to have a free hand to move amendments in Committee. He took this opportunity of expressing his views, but it was not because Ministers hod in the slightest degree altered their intentions. They were just ai firm in regard to the exemptions as when they weut to the oountry, and meant to have every Penny.
