The Daily Nawa' New York correspondent reports that there is a marked impulse towards returning prosperity in the United States. In many manufacturing industries the employers are voluntarily increasing wages by from 10 to 20 per cent., some half -a million workmen having benefited thereby. The Republicans admit that Buoh a general advanae under the lower tariff, whioh they denounced as a Freeh-ado measure, renders it impossible to make ths tariff the issne of next election.
