[fbxbs association.] Melbourne, 15th August. The Ballarat forgery sensation waa before the Conrt to-day. The oase against the girl Amy Bones, who was obarged with forging her father's name to a oheque, waa withdrawn, and Walter Warner, olerk, alleged to be an aoootnplioe. waa discharged, the Benoh holding that there was no oase. The girl gave evidenoe that Bhe hod known Walter Warner for three or fonr weeks when he asked her to marry him, and stipulated that she should steal and forge a oheqne, and promised to return the money if her father consented to the marriage, bhe gave him five blank ohequeß, and showed him her father's signature. Subsequently Bhe cashed a oheqne whioh Warner had signed. Pork lausagea, 6d per Ib, made from grain-fed pork ; order early. Wardell Bros, and Co., 51 Willig-atreet.— Adtt.
