? Lbt tilkgbaph.— pmcss association. I Gibbobne, 13th August. The Snpreme Court has been occupied all day hearing the case of Kirk and others t'ersHi the Phoenix Insurance Company, a claim of £500, the amount of policy on the stock in a store at Karai, bnraed down last September. The defence is that there was not on the premises at the time of the fire the value of goods stated in the proposal form. Tho plaintiffs' case is not yet finished. Mr. Theo. Cooper, of Auckland, appears for tho plaintiffs, and Mr. £>c Laatour for tha defendant company.
