» The Wellington Guards held (their weekly parade last erening, when, in spite of the weather, there was a good muster under Captain Paterson and Lieutenant J. Duthie. After the usual exeroise the captain informed the oompany that marksmen entitled to shoot for the gold medal to-morrow would be ■erred with ammunition on the range, and that the annual shooting would still be held on the 24th inst. He also road a District Order - calling a Government inspection parade for the 23rd inst. in place of the daylight parade of the 21th, which had been oanoelled.
