♦ LORD RO3EBERY RRPROVES HIS FOLLOWERS. I PRESS ASSOCIATION.' London, 9th May. . The small majority by which the Bill to repeal the Irish Crimes Act was carried in the House of Commons (14) is attributed to a large number of the Liberals having abstained form voting. Lord Rosebory, in the courso of a speech , in London, reproved the Liberal members for this, and said thai such action magnified the difficulties and bred despondency among the Party. The Government would continue its work till it was defeated ; but the smallness of tho majority ought not to foment ' salking in the ranks. The continued obstacle of tbe Honso of Lords was not the fault of the Government, but of tbe Liberal Party, whioh must bestir itself.
