Tbe Mastetton Hospital Trustees have obtained a report from Messrs. i'enty and Forde, architects, on the sanitary conditions of tho Hospital. This report recommence extensive improvements in the system oi drainage, &o The Trustees meet on Friday to consider tho report. At a meeting of the committee of the Masterton Town Land Trustees yesterday, it was decided to recommend the Trustees to earmark .£5OO which is at present on fixed deposit in the Building Society, for a town ball ; also, to recommend the Trust to set aside a sum annually to augment the fund. Over one inch of rain was registered in ar hour at Te .Rangituniau on Saturday.
