TA WHIAO'S O BSEQ UIES. [ By Telegraph. ]
I UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION, j Auckland, 18th September. Natives continue to gravitate from all quarters to Taupiri to take part in the tangi over Tawhiao's doath. About 1500 are there awaiting tho arrival of the deceased monarch's body. They are very orderly, and have sot up a codo of rules for regulating their conduct, and a number of native policemen have been told off to soo that those are adhered to, and report all breaches. The Rev. Hauraki Paul addressed them yeßterday, tho sight being an impressive one. Hymns wero sung in Maori in excellent stylo. Tawhiao's body loft Hukanui to-day, and arrives at Taupiri on Wednesday at 10 a.m., escorted by 100 rifles and 200 Maori police. The natives aro watching for reporters and photographers, and Europeans are forbidden to enter tho onolosuro to-morrow. The natives are going to sot apart a day for the reception of Europeans.
