| UNITED PBKSS ASSOCIATION. | Christchurch, 24th June. The Avon Lioensing Committee heard evidence yesterday on behalf of two houses proposed to be olosed. It wa« decided to grant a license to the Bower Hotel at New Brighton, and to refuse the application in respect of the Courtenay Arms.
