A DISHONEST CASHIER.
THE ROBBERY" AT THE CHRISTCHURCH NATIONAL BANK. [By Telegraph. l I UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. I Christchurch, 22nd June. A few days ago it was reported to the police that a, sum of £500 had been stolen from tho National Bank. This afternoon Hugh H. Rish, a teller in the Bank, gave himself up at the Police Station, and confesßed to having stolen the money. He will be brought before the Police Court tomorrow. This Day. In the Magistrate's Court to-day, Kioh was remanded till the 25th inst. Inspector Broham stated that though acoußed had confessed be had not so far made restitution, or given any information about the disposal of the money.
