+ ■■ LEES AND CUMMING SENTENCED TO DEATH. I UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. I Sydney, 22nd June. At the Barraba murder trial the Judge in summing up hold tlut Cumming was an accessory before and after tho crime. The jury found both men Guilty of murder. Counsel for Cumming raised a point for tho decision of the Full Court that the Judge was wrong in directing the jury that there was sufficient evidence that Cumming was an accessory. Sentence of death was passed on both men, whereupon Cumming said to the Judge, "And may the Lord have meroy on your soul for sentencing an innocent man to death ! "
