HYPNOTISM AND CRIME. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Melbourne, 22nd June. The detectives believe tbe woman Anderson, who shot Fraser, had practised hypnotism, and was able to exeroise influence over her victim. The latter's diary was well kept, and shows that his life wa3 frequently threatened by the woman, who was apparently madly in love with him. She only brought tho action to recover moneys alleged to be due for board and lodging in order to coeroe him into marriage.
