I UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] London, sth April. At the meeting of the Bank of Australasia the Chairman said the institution had more money than it could profitably invest. In the course of his remarks he dwelt on the extraordinary vitality and soundness of Australian commerce, and alluded to the complete suocesß that had attended the reconstruction schemes of the various banks that had suspended during the reoent finanoial crisis. The proportion of the reserves to the liabilities during the year was about 33 per cent.
