Hibernian Australasian Catholic Benefit Society.

The periodical, movable meeting of the New Zealand District Board, No. 3, will be held in St. Patrick's Hall, Boulcott-street, to-morrow morning, at 11 o'clock, and as this is the first meeting in the history of the society in New Zealand, at which all the branches will be directly represented, more than ordinary interest will be centred therein. Very important motions will be brought forward — viz., centralisation of the sick funds of the branches in the same manner as the funeral fund now is ; also, snperanuation and old age pensions — both questions of vital interest to friendly society members. The District President (Mr. Wm. Beehan, J.P.) invites members of other friendly societies to be present, as questions of vital importance to all societies will be discussed. There is every reason to anticipate a pleasant and profitable meeting, and one conducive to the best interests of friendly societies in general. Shenhan, J.P. ; Christohuroh, Bros. Courtney and NeUon ; Blenheim, Bro. A. Curry ; New Headford, Bro. J. Doherty j Leeston, Bro. P. Henley ; Dunedin, Bro. Carroll ; Timaru, Bro. M. F. Dennehy ; Wellington, Bros. M. "Bohan, and E. Carrigan, J.P. The delegates for Waipawa, Hastings, Napier, Masterton, Oamaru, Charleston, Greymouth, Milton, and Rangiora, are expected to arrivo to-day.
