Considerable anxiety is felt for the safely of the barqno Achievement, now 163 days out from Liverpool to tins port. She left Liverpool on 13th February, and was spoken on 14th March in latitude 24 N. and longitude 22 W. Since then nothing ha-j been heard of her. Her cargo for Wellington consists of 487 tons, comprising ironmongery, hardware, holloware, earthouwarc, sodi, and various preparations, spirits, beer, salt, oil, logwood, and snndries. Aroongat the Wellington consignees are — Kitchen and Co., Sharland and Co., Turnbuil and Co., Zoluab and Co , E. Anderson and Co., Banuatyne and Co., Duthio and Co., Wilkins unl FioH, J. Ntwton, Levin and Co., Aitken, Wilson and Co., and tho Farmers' Alliance Her carjjo for other ports is — Auckland, 13 tons ; New Plymouth, 1 ton ; Napier, 75 tons; Nelson, 12 tons; Lyttelton, 21 tons; Timaru, 2 tons ; Oamarii, 10 tons. There is also a quantity for Dunedin, the exact amount of which cannot bo ascertained. Tho h chievemont is an iron barque, and a sißter ship to tho Advancement. She was built in 1863 by Dobio & Co., of Glasgow, her owners being Doward, Dickson & Co , of 5, Runford Place, Liverpool. Her dimensious aro— length, 154 ft; breadth, 27ft 9in ,- depth, 17ft 3in. The gross tonnage is 501 tona, 499 under deck, and 499 tons not. The A chievement is under the command of Captain T. Reos. Messrs. Johnson are the local agents for the vessel hero, and Noill Company, Limited, in Dunedin.
