Cross as a claim for compensation for a road taken, through his property. Greytown amateurs produced the burlesque of " Aladdin " in the Theatre Royal last night, to a good house. A Buooeßsful ball was held by the Masterton Quadrille Band in the Drill Hall last night, 60 couples being present. A man named Rasmussen had his foot severely out whilst engaged in the hewing competition at the Caledonian sports, and a. boy named Lett sustained a fracture of theshoulder through a rope breaking whilst engaged in a tug-01-war.
