Melbourne frozen mutton could not be disposed of, as buyers complain the carcases out up unsatisfactorily. Two hundred and fifty oarcases of lamb sold at 3Jd. Ist January. The wheat market has a strong tone. Prices are unchanged. The Continental market has an upward tendency, and tho American is steady. Capetown, 2nd January. The Aorangi left to-day for Hobart and Port Chalmers.
