The Pall Mall Gazette confirms the statement that Viscount Gormanston, Governor of British Guiana, is to bo transferred, and it is believed his next appointment will be to the Governorship of Tasmania. It is also expeoted that Sir Ambrose Shea, Governor of the Bahmas, will be appointed to succeed Sir J. B. Thurston, Governor of Fiji.
