The Adelaide Commiagionor of Polico has given the press a report which discloses some remarkable frauds practised in various parts of the world by a person calling himself Dr. Augustus "VVilhelm Meyers, who stated that he was a resident of Adelaide, & member of the South Australian Legislative Council, and Commissioner for South Australia at the Chicago Exhibition. Meyers was last heard of in Penang. He speaks thirteen different languages, and has a remarkably good address.
