THE TIME IS PAST WHEN any man can afford to do much writing with the pon. The writing machine, although in its infancy, has established itself, and will soon bo as common in tbe homo as tho sowing machino, and ero long taught in the public schools. Tho typewriter enables you to do work in a half or a third of the timo required by the pen, and moro agreeably to yoursolf. No person has yet been known to have acquired facility on tho writing machine and then to have gone back voluntarily to the pen. At the present timo in New Zealand and Australia scores and hundreds of offices recogniso the typewriter as a necessity. But there aro so many machines that the would-be-purchaser is puzzled to know which to buy. We aro more fastidiouß now than we were a few years ogo, when there were only one or two kinds to select from. Such antiquated dovices as ribbons and shift keys havo been discarded, and crooked alignment and blurred work will no longer bo tolerated. Thero iB not a doubt but that tho machine that has reached the highest point of development, and that marks an advance far ahead of all its competitors, is the YOST. The YOST Writing Machino is made at its own factory, Bridgeport, Conn., U.S.A. — the largest and best equipped typowriter factory in the world. Skilled workmen put only the finest materials into its construction. Its inventor (Mr. G. W. N. Yost, after whom tho machino is named) was also the inventor of tho Remington and Caligraph machines. The Yost contains the residium of all that's good and the correction of all that's bad in these former productions out of which the same great genius evolved it. It is tho only typewriter that has direct printing, automatic inking system (discarding ribbon), wonderful centre guide alignment, velocity touch, scientific keyboard, ease, durability and superb construction. The beauty of its work cannot be equalled by any other. It has been exhaustively tested and widely accepted as the Now and Higher Standard. Full information given by writing to GEO M.
