Last week returns were reported to the extent of HOoz, of which Our Boys' Own got about 40oz and Long Time 2002. A little gold was also found in Duncan's Valley, but a fortnight or more must elapse before the parties get down and prove the ground. The Minister of Lands is expected here very soon, and his presence is much needed to satisfactorily settle the methods of future land settlement in this district.
