The bowling green was opened yesterday by tho Mayor in the presence of a largo number of onlookers. Tho Mayor mado a neat speech, and referred to the bright prospects of the Club. The green was in good order, and several matches were played. Tho Club now has a membership of 45. A costume football match was playod yesterday by tho Holiday Association, in aid of the Fire Brigade funds. It was a great success, and resulted in a woloome pecuniary addition to tho funds mentioned.
