SALE OF FURS.

Mr. S. B. Clark, of Brunswick, Victoria, who has earned the title of the premier furrier of Australia, is again in Wellington with a further cong:gnment of furs, which are now being exhibited in the premises in Pamma-Etreet lately occupied by Bing, Harris & Co., where they are to be sold by auction, at 1 o'clock on Monday, by Messrs. Geo. Thomas & Co. The catalogue comprises over 200 lots, which include furs of nearly every »nim«l in. digenous to the Australian Colonies, as well as several foreign ones. These have been manufactured into rugs, mats, ladies' capes, collars, boas, victorias, victorines, mantles, mnifs, handbags, Ac. The consignment almost fills the large show, room, and as Mr. Clark is the possessor of highc'iiss diplomas and medals from Canadian, Amsterdam, London, and Tnrions colonial Exhibi. tdona, as well as from the Universal Exhibition, Paris, there can be no doubt as to the quality of the goods. There is to be a gaslight display tonight, when the public will have an opportunity of jndjing for themselves.

The annual report of the Directors of the Hutt Park Eailway Company, Limited, states that during the rear a call of .£3 per share hod been made with a view of paying off the greater part of the loan from the Equitable Building and Investment Company.
