Quite 7000 poraon3 were presont. Christine Nilsson travelled from Madrid specially to take part in the proceedings. Obitnary— Key. Mr. Marmaduke Oaborne> , Seoretary to the "VVesleyan Missions. Th« death was caused by influenza. Mr. W. H. Smith was re-eleoted unopposed. Mr. Gladstone's attack of influenza is » mild one. Dr. Herbert Evans, of Carnarvon, has been eleoted Chairman of tho Congregational , Union.
