One of the results of His Excellency the Governor's visit to tho Uriwera country is that many of the chiefs have deoided to bring tho whole of tho tribal lands under tho operation of tho Native Lands Court, and have mado application accordingly to the authorities, besides appointing Mr. H. Mitchell, of Rotorua, to carry out the survoy.
