Two of the crew of the steamer Elingamite were in a boat alongside thoir vessel, when a passing steamer jammed th°m against it. One of the unfortunate men' was crashed into a shapeless mass, his remains presenting a horrible Eight, while his companion, thongh not killed, was eerionsly injured.
