The Victorian Loan will probably be placed on the market early in April A few additional applications have been received for the Souih Australian Loan, and it iB suggested that a Committee of leading bankers should fix the minimum of the loan. 6th February. The Times, in referring to the failure of the South Australian Loan, considers it will be a useful lesson to the colonies, as they are inclined to presume too much on the readiness of investors to lend.
